Welcome to the Miriam Raju Foundation Website
For families caring for their sons and daughters with disabilities at home.
The Miriam Raju Foundation was launched in Brisbane in April 2006. It was established by Miriam’s parents and godparents as a way of remembering Miriam in a practical way and to assist families who have sons and daughters with disabilities to continue to care for their children at home.
The Miriam Raju Foundation has now closed. Final grants have been made to families and all funds have been disbursed from the Trust Account.
Thank you to all those who have supported us over the years and to those who were able to join us for our final gathering on the 16th April. It was a joyful celebration to mark the end of the 11 years of work we have been able to do with the generosity of so many people.
We are pleased to announce that we were able to offer grants totalling $392,000 to 74 families since the Foundation was launched in 2006.
The Trustees, along with the Macmahon and Raju families, would like to wish our supporters and the families we have been able to assist all the very best for the future.
